Depends on your needs! For blogging, for example, I really like WP Astra, as it is fast and can work without jquery, so Google page speed test can be 100%

I use Wordpress for years and quite happy with that tbh. What I don't like so many plugins and themes are still using jQuery instead of using vanilla JS, as the result Google Page speed test is quite often so poor...
