You can use the PrestaShop official upgrade module. I have tested it. It properly upgrades PS 1.7 to PS 8, or even 9. I get a 404 error message when using Nginx as a reverse proxy, but it is working fine with Apache.

Yes, I'm getting the same error on PS 8.2.1. Also, the theme modules and options are not working in PS 9.0.0. Getting error 404 when clicking any option in the ZOne theme module settings.
