Might be quite a few things. Can you check out what is set temp folder, what's maximum php upload, do you have write permission for directories... And do you have any errors in log files?

How about you give us version that can upgrade from J3 to J4 or J5?

Most of the upgrades are what Joomla 4 and 5 should have from start. Seems to em like there was few Wordpress developers involved in Joomla decision making structures as they kept shooting them self in the foot with every new Joomla release :D

It will keep living, maybe grow bit slower. Even if something come out that outperforms Joomla in any way possible still there will be some kind of legacy support, or I hope so.

For most of the plugins or extensions there is no need to be nulled, they simply work. Probably you will not have update function, but for that stay here and search for updates...

Seems to me like K2 won't even get J5, and we will be forced to convert all K2 to Joomla articles, together with all custom fields, images, categories. There are some components that do that, but it's all in early stages of development.

In contrast to WP, Joomla have a large core, which integrates many of the functions. When you have few components, for example one for some social networking, another for emails, one for private messages, as soon as you install them, they communicate each with another. Same things does not...

Or migrate all from K2 to articles, including fields, and then migrate all to J5.

Joomla seems good, more stable, but bit bleach on it's perspective... guess will be fine.

For migrating articles and categories you have several components that works. But if you want to import for example some components data then you will probably have to write php migration script to move data from one to another mysql table and make references.

It should be no pain, like going from Joomla 4.1 to 4.2, for example but in reality only small and simple web sites goes painlessly from 4 to 5. They again promised one-click-migration and again made a screw up.
