I'm surprised I've only just found this forum after so many years of test-driving GPL things. It was only after I searched for a very specific, modern piece of code, which already tells me there's some high quality content to be found here :-)

My first instinct was to look exactly for that (being used to your typical GPL sites), but I actually like the community-driven system. I remember it working great for some of the invite-only music-sharing forums back in the day. Content quality was insane, things you wouldn't ever find elsewhere.
