Go to SEO > Search Appearance in the WordPress dashboard.
Under Content Types, ensure that Products are set to "Show Products in search results?".
This ensures Yoast will analyze and index the products.
2. Manually Edit Products to Trigger Analysis
Edit Products Individually: Go to Products > All Products in your WordPress dashboard.
Edit a few products (even just one). This will often prompt Yoast to analyze those products.
Scroll down to the Yoast SEO meta box below the product editor. If it shows up with a message like “SEO analysis not available,” this usually indicates that Yoast needs to analyze that product.
Make any small change (like editing the SEO title or description), then update the product.
Once you update, Yoast should automatically analyze that product's SEO and show the analysis in the Yoast meta box.
3. Bulk Edit Product Meta Data (Title, Description, etc.)
Bulk Editing: In your WordPress dashboard, go to Products > All Products.
Use the bulk edit feature to change the SEO titles, descriptions, or other metadata for multiple products at once. This will trigger Yoast to analyze the products.
Steps for Bulk Edit:
Select all 260 products or a subset.
From the bulk actions dropdown, choose Edit, then click Apply.
Update the product fields like SEO title and meta description.
Click Update to apply changes to all selected products.
Note: This method won’t trigger the SEO analysis directly, but it ensures your products are ready for analysis.
4. Install & Use "Yoast SEO for WooCommerce" (Optional)
Although not required, if you want more advanced features (like product-specific schema, better analysis, etc.), you can use the Yoast WooCommerce SEO Add-on.
This will allow Yoast to automatically handle schema markup and provide additional product-focused SEO suggestions.
To install, go to the Plugins section, search for Yoast WooCommerce SEO, and install it.
