I think it really depends on what knowledge you already have. Both frameworks are written in different languages and will have a learning curve.

If you're very good with javascript, React Native will be easier to pick up. If you already know Dart, using Flutter will be easy enough. If you don't know either programming language yet, I think it makes sense to start with React Native. Javascript is a very widely used language and can be used for almost anything.

Flutter is easier to get started. UI development is pretty similar to using CSS. But it isn't the same. The concepts from css can be used.

I have started learning react and react native. it is easier to me than flutter because much of web is javascript. If you learning javascript go with react native.

A lot of companies that I'm working with are using Flutter. Actually it depends on client needs and the complexity of each project.

compared those two and I chose Flutter. It's more intuitive than the other one.

React Native is restricted to the use of native components that may need further customization by hand. A Flutter app can jump into the desktop environment immediately, while a React app must use a web interface as an intermediary for that situation.
so it depends on your programming experience.

Have a look to Ionic also. It's a really good framework for hybrid apps and you can use with Angular, React, Vue, Js...
