Joomla to Wordpress migration

Hello,
does anyone know how to perform a manual migration from Joomla users to Wordpress?
I'd like to extract the data directly from the SQL database and import them into Wordpress, after mapping the fields.
Or if you know an easier method it will be much appreciated.
