Complete Russian and Ukrainian language packs for the popular Poco theme (v1.7) designed for OpenCart 3. The archive includes all necessary files to add full Russian and Ukrainian language support to your theme, ensuring all standard template elements like buttons, labels, and error messages are accurately translated.
Archive Contents Description.
This archive contains the complete language packs for **Russian (ru-ru)** and **Ukrainian (uk-ua)** for the OpenCart admin panel and storefront. The structure mirrors the original OpenCart directory layout for easy installation.
`/admin/language/` – Contains translated files for the Admin Panel.
`/catalog/language/` – Contains translated files for the Store Front (your store).
Each folder includes translations for English (en-gb), Russian (ru-ru), and Ukrainian (uk-ua).
Installation Instructions.
1. Make a Backup! Always backup your site files and database before making any changes.
2. Extract the Archive: Unzip the downloaded archive on your computer.
3. Upload Files: Using an FTP client (like FileZilla) or your hosting provider's File Manager, upload the contents of the `admin` and `catalog` folders from the archive to the ROOT directory of your OpenCart installation. This will merge the new `language` folders with your existing ones.
* Important: Do not upload the `admin` and `catalog` folders themselves. Upload their *contents* (the `language` folders inside them) to your server's root, so they merge with your existing `admin` and `catalog` directories.
4. Clear the Cache: Log into your OpenCart Admin Panel. Go to System > Settings. Click the "Edit" button for your store. Switch to the "Server" tab and click the "Refresh" button next to "Translation Cache". Also, clear any other caches (modification cache, system cache) if possible.
5. Set Languages: Go to System > Localisation > Languages. Make sure Russian and Ukrainian are installed and enabled. If not, add them:
* Language Name: Russian / Ukrainian
* Code: ru-ru / uk-ua
* Locale: ru-RU,ru;ru-ru / uk-UA,uk;uk-ua
* Status: Enabled
* Sort Order: Any
6. Change Default Language (Optional): You can set the default language for the storefront and admin panel in System > Settings (Edit your store) under the "Local" and "Option" tabs.
