The Bat! works correctly with all encodings, including all Russian and Eastern European ones: KOI8-R, Windows-1251, DOS, ISO, etc. A flexible system of settings allows you to set your own encodings for each mailbox and each recipient. In addition, starting from The Bat! 4.0, MicroEd - the program's internal text editor - supports Unicode encoding. All system fonts and character sets are also supported.
Mail manager. Dispatcher allows you to process mail on a POP3 or IMAP server without waiting for it to be downloaded. A great tool for remote control of your correspondence. This is especially useful if you need to leave large emails on the server to read them later, or delete emails without receiving them.
The address book. The address book contains a list of your recipients. You can combine them into groups for classification, or for using the addresses as a mailing list, i.e. send an email to all group members at once. You can attach a photo to each address entry, specify personal data, information about the place of work, letter templates for this addressee, a list of the subscriber's S / MIME certificates, as well as the default encoding. In The Bat! 4.0 and later versions, there is an Address History option that allows you to view and quickly find any message from any of the correspondents.
Interface in 12 languages. The Bat! allows you to change the interface language "on the fly", without restarting the program.
Image viewer module. The Bat! equipped with its own image viewer. This means that accessing embedded images is much faster than accessing through an external application. Users can switch between all images attached to an email. The module supports rotation, resizing and scaling algorithms, full screen mode.
Request forms. Forms are a tool for generating requests that are subject to automatic processing. The request form is designed to remotely access and manage information offline, while maintaining security requirements.
