Most of the upgrades are what Joomla 4 and 5 should have from start. Seems to em like there was few Wordpress developers involved in Joomla decision making structures as they kept shooting them self in the foot with every new Joomla release

There some extensions for that use, like Gutenberg in WordPress. From Joomla Extension Directory (JED) you can look up for tag "OnePage Design extensions", you will find many alternatives. I'll be up to you for your final choice!
