Prestashop 1.7 est beaucoup moins que le 1.6 avec la 1.6 l'ajout au panier était très rapide en 1.7.7 il faut attendre 8 secondes et impossible de trouver une solution sauf en ajoutant un module comme cart+

Fait une recherche cart+ sur le forum, très bon module pour l'ajout au panier avec popup et wheels qui tourne ;-)
