Is it Google Analytics you refer to and use?

I haven't looked into the themes from Leo. But I have used one module from them, and it was really poorly coded. I had to change some stuff that should have been correct coded from the beginning. So I believe you when you say that they are mediocre.

Is the mail sent automatically, or do you send the mail to the carrier manually in admin?
