Can Shopify Handle More Than 10000 products at Once?

We currently have over 10000 products in Wordpress, but it's getting clunky and slow. Tried caching, css & js optimization, cdn - by the end of the day, it's just slow.... we were wondering if Shopify can handle such amounts? It's so popular these days, we were wondering if someone can suggest, advice, tell whether it's a good idea or not

shopify websites run on the shopify server, wordpress runs on your hosting service and is limited in space and power so that could be the problem

There are wordpress shops with more than 20000 products without problems. It is a matter of optimisation and server. Maybe you need to upgrade your hosting.

Shopify uses Google Cloud Plattform.

1000 products for shopify is not that too many, they can easily handle that
