CAT Caterpillar ET Diagnostic Adapter 3 problem solve

Recently so many people meet this problem ,after they use the cat caterpillar ET Diagnostic Adapter 3 to connect with the vehicle, the light could not turn on and could not work. How to solve this problem?

CAT Caterpillar ET Diagnostic Tool (9 pin Adapter) connect with the cat vehicle ,CAT Caterpillar ET main device the light is not turn on ,and the device could not work ,as following picture.

Change the all new CAT Caterpillar ET Diagnostic Tool ,the result is same .
After we checked the CAT vehicle ‘s diagnostic seat, then find the question .
the reason is that there is some cat vehicle’s diagnostic seat is not standard, and that is not matched with our 9 pin diagnostic connector .

Some CAT Vehicle diagnostic seat is not match with our cat device 9 pin connecter . Even the positive and negative poles of the power supply are opposite ,so our 9 pin diagnostic connect with the vehicle seat ,could not get the power and the device could not work .

so when you use the cat device 9 pin connecter to connect with the vehicle seat .you need connect the corresponding ports, like this ,the device can get the power then could test the vehicle.
