I have a situation where we have 2 DB ( 1 for codeigniter Site-A and another managed by wordpress Site-B) and two sites on the same server. requirements are as given below:
1. Codeigniter ( Site-A ) contains user management/operations functions ( Membership , payments , attendance, payments dues etc) is managed
2. Wordpress (Site-B - Informative only ) should have private post for manager and members by specific categories and only be seen by respected member.
3. Member logged in from Site-A ( Code igniter ) should auto logged in ( Site-B ) wordpress and invoking category for member should take him/her to the wordpress information posts by category without login to the wordpress. In short SSO needed without addition authentication server.
4. Updating Categories and subcategories in wordpress Site-B, category listing in Site-A ( Codeigniter ) should be reflected dynamic.
Anyone came in such situation ever? Any sort of Suggestions / help will be highly appreciated.
