What is it?
Duplicator Pro Activator Plugin is an add-on for the Duplicator WordPress plugin that enables all Advanced/Pro features after you’ve installed the Duplicator Pro package. It does not modify core files and it preserves normal update behavior.
This package does not include the core Duplicator Pro app - this must be obtained independently.
Who is it for?
Users who already run the Duplicator core plugin and want to unlock Pro functionality.
Requirements
- Duplicator core v1.6.0 or later (confirmed working with 1.6.0).
- A Duplicator account with at least a Basic license.
- If you don’t have one yet, create a Basic license first; the Activator will apply Pro entitlement locally.
What the Activator Does
- Enables all Pro features in your local install (e.g., scheduled backups, cloud storage destinations, advanced migration options, recovery points, and priority features).
- Keeps your install eligible for regular updates and support (barring any changes needing the activator updated).
Installation & Activation
- Install Duplicator Pro (v1.6.0) and complete the initial setup.
- Install the Activator add-on: upload the ZIP.
- Activate the Activator Plugin in your WordPress admin panel plugins.
Compatibility
- Confirmed working with Duplicator 1.6.0.
- If you run custom hardening or caching layers, activate Pro first, then re-enable those layers and clear caches.
