Has anyone compared IKEA logistics with those of other companies?

Recently, my colleagues and I compared the logistics of large retailers. As a business analyst, I often work on cases involving Walmart and Costco. But when I read the article about IKEA, I wondered: Is their system a model? How much more effective is it compared to other companies? What do you think?

All of these companies have their strengths, but their approaches differ. Walmart focuses on scale and aggressive route optimization. Costco emphasizes large batches and simplicity. IKEA has a highly developed network of regional centers and uses flat-packaging to save time and space. I work as an operations manager in retail logistics, so I know what I'm talking about. Articles about IKEA Logistics News show exactly where their strength lies. Cross-docking, and SKU standardization in forecasting - these elements give IKEA an advantage in predictability and processing speed. Of course, everyone has their limitations, but I find the IKEA model very interesting in terms of balancing cost, accessibility, and customer experience.
