Memory Game Description and Time Modification Instructions​

Game Description​

The HTML Memory Game (Match the Pair) is a classic logic game designed to test and improve your memory. Your task is to flip cards and memorize the location of the hidden symbols (emojis). You must find and match all 8 pairs of symbols in the shortest time possible. The game tracks your time and the number of moves.

Objective: Complete the game by matching all pairs.

Time Prize ​

The game currently features a prize system: if a player matches all pairs in under 20 seconds, they receive special congratulations and a "Take Screenshot" button, allowing them to document their high score and send it to the administration to claim a prize.

How to Change the Prize Time Limit​

To change the required time (e.g., from 20 seconds to 45 seconds), you need to edit the index.html file using any text editor (like Notepad, VS Code, etc.).

1. Open the index.html file.
2. Locate the following line of code within the JavaScript section (<script>...</script>):

const PRIZE_TIME_LIMIT = 20;

Change the value 20 to your desired time limit (e.g., 45):

const PRIZE_TIME_LIMIT = 45;

Save and close the file. The new time limit will be active the next time you open the game.
