PrestaShop vs Woocomerce

I think both systems are time.
WooCommerce, because it has managed to integrate all the good things about WordPress (and it is a lot to say) with all the efforts to continue improving this plugin for the development of online stores. And PrestaShop, because it has been around for a long time.

If you want to create a small shop, go with woocomerce, but if u need some advanced store, configuration, carriers, etc go to prestashop.

I never understood the appeal of woocommerce, its like they butchered a blog tool to make way for a shop.

Hello, I like Woocommerce, there are a lot of modules available but for a store with thousands of products it's really slow compared to Prestashop. Prestashop modules are way too expensive compared to Woocommerce and it is almost impossible to get a refund in the event of a problem.

I code on PrestaShop (and i love it), but WordPress has way more solutions regarding customizations plugins, especially regarding the designing part.

So even though PrestaShop is more robust out of the box, I would call it a tie if we want to be fair.

You should know that Prestashop was created to make stores. And WooCommerce was Blog platform. So Woo has some disadvantages. But if you have small store or you selling for example kitchen staff and publishing a lot of posts Woo can be very useful also.
