Rockettheme announced they are shutting down...

Don't know if anyone here saw the news, but today Rockettheme announced they will be shutting down. If you have purchases there, be sure to download before June 30. Also they confirmed on Facebook that they don't plan to continue Gantry development and have put the project into archive mode unless they find someone to take it over.

So that leaves only one question mark now which is Joomlart which also hasn't released a new template in almost a year. No one really knows what's going on with them either.

That is really sad news. Most of the sites I've been building recently utilize Gantry.

Rockettheme team is behind gantry , right? I know two other companies that use gantry for their templates (inspiretheme and joomlead). What will happen to the them after this? hmmm sad news

As they state, they will maintain the Gantry, but still have not mirrored the GitHub or made it available...

The issue is Gantry was never updated to work with Joomla 5 properly. So while they may claim they will maintain it, I don't see them releasing anything new and as someone else has pointed out, they have yet to mirror the GitHub or make it available.
My guess is it will be a while before they make a new versions available and J6 is just around the corner also...
