The developer does not update many free plugins, here is an updated Yandex Maps plugin. The classes used YMaps.Map, YMaps.Geocoder, YMaps.Events.observe, etc. are outdated and do not exist in API 2.1. Rewritten for API 2.1. Use it to your heart's content.
