I recently tried exporting my emails from Mozilla Thunderbird to EML format for backup and migration purposes. I selected all folders and used the export option, and the process completed without any error messages. However, after checking the exported EML files, I noticed that some emails are missing. A few folders contain fewer messages than expected, and certain old emails or emails with attachments did not appear in the exported data at all. I have already tried restarting Thunderbird and re-exporting the emails, but the issue persists. Why does Thunderbird skip or miss some emails during EML export, and what is the best way to ensure that all emails are exported completely without data loss?

You can quickly export many Thunderbird files to EML files with the DataVare Thunderbird Converter without missing any data. This program can export more than one Thunderbird file to an EML file at the same time. Before the conversion starts, you will be able to see a full preview of the data that was exported from Thunderbird files to EML format. It also doesn't change how your data is set up. Don't change the quality of the actual file.
